[generator] Adding a background image to the comments bar
howto_user wrote in s2howto

One way to personalise your journal is by adding images to different parts of it. This tutorial explains how you can add a background image to the comment bar of each entry in the Generator layout with custom CSS.

Please note that your image should be a valid format (.jpg, .gif, .png, etc.) and hosted by some website that allows remote loading.

Copy the code below into 'Custom stylesheet' field in the Custom CSS section of your Custom Options:

.comments {
background-image: url('http://www.EXAMPLE.com/YOURIMAGE.jpg');
font-size: 8pt;
}

The address in yellow is what is used as the background image. Change the address to the one of your image.

The size in red can be changed to whatever font size you want the Perma-link & Post a Comment links to be.

Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page to apply the customizations to your journal.
